Visited the customer in July 2007 and made several subsequent visits back to the site as the customer was uncertain as to what they wanted as a paving that would brighten up the back end of the garden come rain or shine. A compromise between the customers drawing and mine meant work commenced in February.

The work for this customer consisted of creating a garden from scratch as the ground level rose from the house to a height of 2ft 6" at the back of the garden. There was no seating area, no where for children to run or play safely. The ground was above damp course in places. It needed a major input of thought and careful planning. The works started with the removal of 55 ton of gravel, clay and spoil and then carefully put back with 35 ton of paving, bricks, aggregates, soil and turf.
After 6 1/2 weeks of hard slog against the weather, flu and frosts, job finally done!

As you can see having the different levels of a raised patio and beds, the walling really gives the garden width and depth now.
Another very satisified customer, thank you.

This job was for a complete rear garden including fencing, conifer removal, several patio areas with screen and new lawn area.
Initially visited the customer in July for a consultation to design the garden and go through some ideas. We came up with a design (as below) that would totally transform the rear garden incorporating the new conservatory.
When the works actually started there were a few alterations to be refined and works started.
